BioIn the jungles of Peru, the fight for survival heightened his senses. Now, Detective Jim Ellison is a sentinel in the fight for justice. Seeing before others see. Sensing what others can't. An ever-vigilant watchman in the war against crime.
He can see people in darkened windows at night from 200 yards, hear the music playing on the radio of the car he is chasing after he has lost sight of it, and can distinguish between wood and plastic after both have been in a three thousand degree fire. He was born with a genetic advantage, activated by long periods of isolation, that make him what anthropology grad student Blair Sandburg calls a Sentinel.
